Amberley Celebrated

We were a week later than most, but everyone was back from half term holidays and the sun shone brightly for us on the School Green. And what a great sociable crowd we had! We embraced the retro feel of the village fete with a flower and produce show, morris dancers, afternoon teas and a beer tent.

The floral workshop run by the talented Vicky from Amberley Meadow in the parish rooms resulted in many stunning arrangements of wild flowers.

Although it was primarily a celebration rather than a fundraising event, we raised £800 towards the shop opening. A big thanks to everyone who came and to all our volunteers who put in so much work.
