Seasons greetings

We are taking a few days off for xmas and very much look forward to welcoming you back on 27th December when we will re-open and celebrate our first six months of trading 
 
We are enormously grateful to all of you who have supported this community enterprise. The management committee and our 85 volunteers have worked hard but also had a lot of fun serving you our customers and we look forward to some exciting new developments in 2024.
 
Amongst other things we will be improving our lunchtime offering; home-made sandwiches, hot sausage rolls as well as our ever popular hot soup will feature in the new line up. Our shop strives to sell what our customers want, focusing on good quality local supplies, competitively priced basics and a few indulgences 
 
We are pleased to announce that our general manager Louise will be joined by a paid assistant in the new year, which will help us develop our business further. Our key mission is to  run a thriving, inclusive, sustainable, not for profit business for the benefit of the whole community. We are delighted with the progress we have made in our first six months.
