Opening!

Dear Shareholders and Supporters,

The date is fixed. We are opening for business on Tuesday 27th June at 8am.

We look forward to welcoming you, our patient supporters, to the shop and café which you will find in Holy Trinity Amberley. We trust you will agree that it has been worth the wait when you see how great it all looks.

We will open with a wide selection of groceries from staples such as store cupboard essentials, fresh vegetables, frozen ready meals, and newspapers through to high quality deli items, wine and beer plus artists' greeting cards, and gifts. We are proud to use local suppliers wherever possible.

The café features a proper espresso machine so we will be serving coffee from freshly ground coffee beans as well as pots of tea, all made with local organic milk. Soft drinks will be available at the café. We have freshly-made cakes, pastries and other tasty treats plus savouries including award-winning sausage rolls and handmade scotch eggs. Vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options will also be available. T

There will be free wi-fi inside in the cafe area and picnic tables outside, and there is the playground nearby for young children. And of course, we will have ice cream!
Our volunteers have been amazing and have been learning a wide variety of skills, not least, how to be a barista! Be kind to them.
